Currently: Innovation coach and Design Strategist with Nordstrom Innovation Lab. Design team lead with Upstart SF. Advisor to Stickery, Imagineerz Learning and California College of the Arts Design MBA Program.

Previously: Education and Innovation Manager at the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco and a graduate of Stanford’s Learning, Design and Technology program. An alum of the Stanford d.School, I spent several years as a project lead with the d.School K-12 Lab, bringing design thinking activities and curriculum to partner organizations including Girl Scouts, Maker Faire and multiple school districts. As a contract coach with the d.School Executive Education team, I taught design thinking around the world, working with organizations in Taiwan including Quanta, LCY and National Taiwan University. Through independent work as a design thinking consultant, I teach design thinking, creativity and innovation principles to a wide range of organizations, including startups, schools, non-profits and corporations. I am fascinated by the pedagogy of design and creativity, and committed to building creative confidence in all his clients.
